SCOPE OF WORK
The SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) evaluates, identifies, and provides services to students who meet eligibility requirements for speech-language impairments based on adherence to all federal, state, and local procedures. The SLP maintains accurate records, participates, and conducts student meetings, including but not limited to IEP, staff, and eligibility meetings. The SLP holds certification from the GAPSC and State Licensure Board, keeping current with current research and evidence-based practices.
Speech-language pathologists will perform all duties and responsibilities within their scope of practice based on Georgia State Law. These duties for the SLP include, but are not limited to, performing observations / evaluations, providing therapy, creating training material, attending meetings, collecting data, recording attendance, completing therapy notes, and providing interventions to other staff as needed.
DUTIES
1. Work forty (40) hours per week, (excluding 30-minute lunch break) or as otherwise directed;
2. Conduct patients evaluations for speech therapy in accordance with clinic procedures and timelines;
3. Provide Speech therapy through individual, small group, in-class and community models as directed by students’ IEPs and 504 plans;
4. Provide services to students based on IEP goals, objectives and time indicators;
5. Maintain a daily log of services and hours worked;
6. Maintain appropriate student files, which will remain the property of clinic
Job Types : Full-time, Contract
Pay : $40.00 - $55.00 per billable hour
