We are looking for our next Insurance Coordinator who can contribute to helping patients thrive. Our Insurance Coordinator will be the connection between our patients and their insurances. The goal would be to help our patients understand our services and their cost.

About the Role :

  • Provide information about services, providers, and insurance benefits to clients
  • Verify and update insurance benefits for patients within their portal
  • Request and receive authorizations for services and process them in a timely manner
  • Assist with scheduling and portal invitations for clients and providers
  • Respond to patient inquiries, maintaining accurate and timely communication
  • Support management in training new hires by facilitating shadowing opportunities
  • Receive patient queries in person, by phone or through electronic means, and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate resource or department
  • Provide basic office administration support that includes copying, faxing, filing, handling deliveries, and more

    • Compensation :

  • 21 / hr starting rate
  • Full Time 40 hour position
  • Non-exempt employee

    • You Offer :

  • Preferred 1 years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • Preferred 1 years in customer service
  • Preferred 1 years of insurance verification (but not required).
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and help others do the same.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of 90-day probationary period if hired.
  • A passion for learning and an adaptable attitude towards growth.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Patience when handling tough patient scenarios.
  • Willingness to help others with problems.
  • Able to perform under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude on a fast paced team.
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High-level customer service combined with active listening skills
