Key Responsibilities :
Administer servers, computers (PC & Mac), printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and mobile devices .
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure system reliability.
Install, configure, and maintain workstations and IT equipment .
Manage network security , user accounts, and permissions.
Ensure IT systems comply with best practices in security & compliance .
Oversee software and hardware licenses, contracts, and updates .
Support new employee onboarding with workstation setup and security access.
Monitor, inspect, and maintain IT hardware (e.g., HDDs, printers, label scanners).
Optimize local networks and IT performance .
Perform data backups and recovery processes .
Provide technical support to employees on IT-related issues.
Maintain IT logs, documentation, and maintenance schedules .
What We Are Looking For :
Experience in IT support within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
Must have the ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues with hardware and software .
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision .
Proficiency in Windows OS, Mac, MS Office Suite, SQL Server, and OEM PCs .
Familiarity with Epicor ERP, Python, and Arduino (a plus).
Networking knowledge : Windows 10, Server 2016, VMware, LAN / WAN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, NAT, wireless technology .
Experience configuring network switches .
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills .
Knowledge of Office365 administration and troubleshooting.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
IT certifications highly desirable.
Ability to pass a background check & drug screening .
