What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Technician position at Senske Lawn and Tree Care?
Essential Functions :
- Working individually or with a crew to provide lawn care and pest services to all properties on assigned route. Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for pest and weed control in lawn and ornamentals.
- Unload and load equipment at each property, remove loose trash and debris from landscape area prior to servicing area.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines including local ordinances. Keep scheduled appointments with customers, as applicable.
- Interact and ask questions of clients if they are present when the job is completed, to determine client concerns and existing conditions. Sell additional services to existing and prospective clients.
- Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties.
- Properly identify insects, weeds, and fungus conditions, as well as pest harborage areas and conducive conditions, and prescribe corrective measures.
Wage Range : $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.
