Job Overview
Sensorio, an innovative outdoor light exhibit and hospitality center at the intersection of art, technology, and nature, seeks an experienced and dynamic Sales and Event Manager to lead and execute sales strategies and event operations. This role is critical in driving attendance, maximizing private event bookings, and elevating guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in sales and event management, a proven track record in coordinating events and achieving sales goals, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase ticket sales, group bookings, and private event reservations.
- Build and maintain relationships with hotels, local businesses, tourism agencies, and travel companies to expand Sensorio’s reach.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of sales promotions, packages, and group discounts to maximize revenue.
Event Management
- Serve as the primary contact for private and group events, coordinating logistics to ensure smooth execution and exceptional experiences.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events such as full moon nights, silent discos, holiday experiences, and music series.
Marketing & Branding
- Partner with the marketing team to develop strategies for event promotions and public engagement.
- Support content creation for campaigns that drive attendance and enhance the Sensorio experience.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide staff involved in event operations to ensure excellent execution and consistent service quality.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors, including caterers, decorators, and AV providers.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor sales and event performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Report key insights and outcomes to senior leadership to guide future strategies.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in sales and event management, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or attractions.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and coordinating events.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, event planning software, and digital marketing platforms (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
