Senspex is seeking to hire an Electronic Technician Maintenance III for our Military Mission Support Team in Yakima, WA!
The Electronics Technician Maintenance III applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions and incorporating engineering changes.

What you'll get to do as an Electronic Technician Maintenance II at Senspex:
- Tests, analyzes, fabricates, repairs and operates electromechanical instruments.
- Monitors the activities and provides guidance to lower-level technicians and laborers involved in range operations, maintenance and repair.
- Operates machines: bench lathe, milling machine, punch press, drill press; and verifies dimensions using micrometer and calipers.
- Completes assemblies including wire and insulation, electrical components following method layout and concept drawings.
- Fabricates and installs electronic assemblies and hardware, using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Repairs, modifies, and tests assembled instruments for circuit continuity and operational reliability using multi-meter, oscilloscope and voltmeter.
- Analyzes test results and repairs or adjusts instruments according to analysis.
The qualifications we require:
- 10 years BA/BS or MA/MS degree, or 21 years AA or no degree.
- Working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, woodworking and mechanical apparatus.
- Background in basic electricity and hydraulics, military equipment, and/or wireless WAN networking procedures.
- Requires the ability to operate and speak clearly over military hand-held radios and telephones.
- Operate a four-wheeled drive vehicle up to one ton in off-road conditions.
- Works well with others on a team and has strong communication skills and a customer-service attitude.
- Current State Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
