What you'll get to do as a Mechanical Engineer at Senspex:
- Develop innovative electromechanical solutions to complex challenges that ultimately result in hardware builds
- Utilize CAD and other engineering software to design electromechanical systems
- Collaborate with other electrical and system engineers to achieve system design integration
- Perform tests, issue results and written reports to ensure tests meet hardware design specifications
- Analyze and resolve design compatibility issues
- Identify, implement and manage engineering changes for product improvement
- Provide support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades, and enhancements
The qualifications we require:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering plus ten (10) years of experience in component or subsystem designs that includes electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical design practices; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Ability to travel, up to 10%, domestic and international
- Demonstrated proficiency with CAD tools and modeling
- Demonstrated experience in prototype development, including solid modeling, drafting, vendor management, testing, and integration

- National security clearance: This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects/programs

- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test
