The Role : Xylem, seeks to hire a Class A Driver withwith Heavy Equipment and Set-up experience. Xylem, the leader in portable industrial pumping, offers full-service dewatering capabilities including pump sales, rental and on-site services to transport water and wastewater to customers worldwide. The role will be a general purpose laborer / yard / set-up / delivery employee based in Cleveland Ohio. Essential Functions : Operating of Commercial class A / B vehicles Loading and unloading of pumps, hoses and other pumping accessories on and off of delivery trucks and its freight carriers; loading / unloading may be done mechanically or manually. Safely load equipment and accessories onto vehicle Safely unload equipment and accessories off of vehicle Safely assist in maintaining orderliness of yard equipment and accessories Safe operation of diesel powered hydraulic lifting equipment; i.e., forklifts, front-end loaders, tow motors, etc. Complete paper work flow associated with loading / unloading equipment to ensure accuracy ofinventory. Ensure yard area is organized and maintained and all equipment and accessories are properly and securely stored Minimum Qualifications : To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to safely operate diesel powered hydraulic lifting equipment, i.e., forklifts, front-end loadersand tow motors. Valid driver’s license with good driving record Commercial drivers license (A / B) required Forklift certification preferred Physical Demands : Heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) Full range of physical motions associated with general labor work continually throughout 8 hours Work Environment : Continualexposuretoall outdoorweatherconditions; exposuretonoise and fumesgeneratedfrom motorized equipment Travel : Asrequired to fulfill the duties listed above.
