The Role : Sensus, a Xylem brand, seeks an Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer intern to validate production standards and improve efficiency in key production areas. Position may also support new MES software implementation at the Uniontown facility.
Knowledge in Six Sigma, Lean, and Time / Motion Studies required. Essential Duties / Principal Responsibilities :
- Perform time studies to establish proper work flow and validate standards. Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Identify cost saving opportunities.
- Perform additional job duties not outlined but within the scope of the job activities as directed.
