THE ROLE : Xylem Dewatering Solutions seeks to hire a Field Service / Set-up Technician to provide support to branch operations, including : the yard and field service in the Indianapolis, IN area. Xylem Dewatering Solutions is the leader in portable industrial pumping, offers full-service dewatering capabilities including pump sales, rental and on-site services to transport water and wastewater to customers worldwide. - Safe operation of diesel powered hydraulic lifting equipment; i.e., forklifts, front-end loaders, tow motors, etc.
- Safe operation and monitoring of operation equipment.
- Safely mobilize and demobilize equipment on job sites.
- Complete paper work flow associated with loading / unloading equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Obey all Godwin Pumps and customer safety rules.
- Maintain communication with dispatch as to whereabouts and estimated arrival / departure times.
- Assist in the set-up of Godwin pumping equipment as necessary.
- Available for on-call off-hours driving assignments on a rotating schedule for emergencies.
- Assist as needed in preparing rental equipment for dispatch and ensuring yard is organized and maintained
