As a Patient Access Rep with Sentara, you will work in Patient Registration for the Emergency Department and/or various registration areas of the hospital. This position's primary duties include positively identifying the patient, collecting demographic and insurance information, and admitting the patients. This role allows you to work with both clinical and non-clinical staff. If you desire, there are promotional opportunities such as Patient Access Rep II/III, Team Leader, and Team Coordinator. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.35 - $23.08Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
