Sentara Health is currently seeking a flexi/prn Patient Transporter at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center to work on an as needed basis.
Hours/Shift: Flexible, Rotating Shifts
As a Patient Transporter with Sentara, you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. You will be responsible for communicating clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. You will also ensure adequate communication of information between Central Transport and other departments.

Education Required:
High School Diploma
Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Other/National within 90 days of hire
Experience Preferred:
Patient care
