Sentara CarePlex Hospital located in Hampton, VA is hiring a Manager for the Inpatient Surgical Unit. The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operations.
Shift: Days
Management Incentive Bonus potential available with this position!
Experience required 3 years: Registered Nurse, Healthcare Management - Clinical Practice Care must have previous supervisory experience and BSN.
Unit Description: Inpatient Surgical Unit
Surgical Inpatient Unit primarily serving the Careplex postoperative patient population. Surgical specialties include Vascular, Neurosurgery, General, Orthopedic, Podiatric, Colorectal, Bariatric, Plastic, Gynecologic, and Urologic. We intermittently provide care to patients with general medical needs. We are seeking motivated, compassionate, intelligent, dedicated team members with a passion for best practices and desire for ongoing career growth.
The Manager, is responsible and accountable for the daily operations. Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. Interviews, hires and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.
Sentara CarePlex Hospital is a 224-bed, acute care hospital, Certified Primary Stroke Center and a Magnet facility located in Hampton, Va. The hospital provides care through advanced surgical programs, emergency cardiac intervention, fellowship-trained physicians, and the newly-opened Family Maternity Center.
