Sentara Community Care Center - Chestnut is now hiring a Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor in Newport News, VA!
At Sentara Community Care, the Licensed Professional Counselor provides individual, group, and/or family therapy; provides staff consultation, and education. This is an on-site position in a community health-based open clinic where we see various types of patients.
Hours: Mon., Tue. (8a-5p), Wed, Thurs. (8a-6p), Fri. (8a-2p)
*Additional evening and weekend hours may be required for community events. **
Qualifications:
- Current Virginia state licensure Licensed Professional Counselor required
- Master's degree in social work, counseling or mental health nursing from an appropriately accredited college or university required.
- Minimum of one years in respective field.
