Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Mobility Tech.
Shift/Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Days, 7am-7pm
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Basic Life Support
Position Overview:
The Mobility Technician is responsible for assisting clinical staff and members of the inter-professional healthcare team, as assigned, under the direct supervision of clinical staff within inpatient setting.
This position performs delegated activities that include but are not limited to:
patient mobility
infection control processes
assisting patients in practicing exercises or functional activities
transporting patients to and from treatment areas,
inspecting and maintaining equipment, and a variety of basic clerical functions supporting clinical staff in successful provision of treatment plans.
