What are the responsibilities and job description for the NP or PA for Plastic Surgery - Inpatient/Outpatient/OR First Assist position at Sentara?
Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Sentara Plastic Surgery Specialists to provide inpatient and outpatient pre/post-surgical care for plastics trauma, elective, and cosmetic services.
Position Highlights:
- Location: 301 Riverview Ave Norfolk, VA
- Inpatient Duties: Rounding on Plastic Surgery-related pre/post surgical care, ED consults, incision and draining, wound vac changes, etc.
- OR/First Assist Duties: laceration repair, wound closures, breast reconstruction, cosmetic procedures, various trauma repairs, etc.
- Outpatient Duties: Plastic Surgery-related pre/post-surgical care. 15-25 patients daily
- Varied case load work with attending and resident plastic surgeons
- Surgical experience preferred
- No Call
