What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Posting Clerk position at Sentara?
Sentara Health is hiring a Part-time, Day Shift, Operating Room (OR) Posting Clerk at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Work 2 days a week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Need to be available to work 8-hour shifts 2 days a week. Days vary, so you will need to be available to work both Thursdays and Fridays and Tuesdays and Thursdays. Will also help with coverage as needed. No weekends or holidays!
Job Qualifications:
- 1 Year Related Work Experience Required (Operating Room Posting Clerk, Operating Room Scheduler)
- Microsoft Office Experience Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- EPIC and OnBase experience preferred
- Medical Terminology experience preferred
- Heartsaver CPR/AED Certification - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI Preferred
An OR Posting Clerk provides administrative support and coordination for scheduling, registering, medical records, billing, and clerical functions.
