What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Representative I position at Sentara?
As a Patient Access Rep with Sentara, you will work in Patient Registration for the Emergency Department and/or various registration areas of the hospital. This position's primary duties include positively identifying the patient, collecting demographic and insurance information, and admitting the patients. This role allows you to work with both clinical and non-clinical staff. If you desire, there are promotional opportunities such as Patient Access Rep II/III, Team Leader, and Team Coordinator.
