Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Patient Transporter for the Radiology Department.
Full-time, Day Shift, Mon-Fri (5:00am-1:30pm)
Position Overview:
As a Patient Transporter with Sentara, you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. You will be responsible for communicating clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
Experience Preferred:
Patient care
