What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiological Technologist position at Sentara?
Velocity Urgent Care (now solely owned by Sentara Health) is actively looking for qualified Radiologic Technologists. As a Radiologic Technologist with Velocity, you will work directly with a Provider Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.
Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.
Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flexi Shifts
Required Qualifications:
- AART Certification Required or
- Registry eligible graduate acceptable in lieu of cert
Clinic hours - 8:00a.m. - 8:00p.m. Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday, 8am-4pm. Scheduled hours and shifts may vary based on business need and candidates availability.
