Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex is hiring a Radiology Services Coordinator for the Advanced Imaging Center.
Department/Position Overview:
The Advanced Imaging Center at Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex provides a convenient, modern option to outpatient radiology procedures, with the latest technology and staff radiologists who offer sub-specialist expertise. Every detail, from the facility's design to personnel training, focuses on patient comfort, convenience and reassurance.
Hours/Shift: Office is open 6:30am to 6pm and rotating Saturdays. This position is part-time - Flexi-Pool.
In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for:
- Responsible for the order entry process
- Communication and guest relations
- Medical record maintenance/analysis
- Responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties
- Demonstrate competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats
Minimum Requirements:
Education :
- High School Grad or Equivalent
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical environment preferred
