Sentara Health is currently hiring a Sterile Processing Tech I to work at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC.
Fulltime, rotating shifts (Dept is open from 7a-11p, 7 days per week)
The CSS Tech is responsible for receiving, decontamination, sterilizing, storing, and distributing all instruments handled by Sterile Processing. Assembles and disassembles case carts.
Preferred: Surgical Tech background or familiar with surgical instruments
Required: Attention to detail, passion for keeping patients/staff safe, critical thinking, ability to handle fragile equipment
