Overview
The Tax Accountant role assists with the preparation of all federal, state and local tax filings for both exempt and taxable entities.
Bachelor's level degree in accounting or business management required.
Education

Experience
- Duties include: Preparation and filing of complete and accurate sales tax, business tangible personal property tax, business license tax and other returns on or before government-established due dates.
- Timely processing and payment of business tangible personal property and real estate tax bills on or before government established due dates.
- Preparation and filing of complete and accurate North Carolina (NC) semi-annual sales tax refund request on or before NC due dates.
- Interact with local and state taxing authorities regarding missing bills, notices, disputes, penalties and other matters as required.
- Maintain thorough documentation Perform any other task and special projects assigned by the Tax Managers and/or Supervisor.
- Accounting or Finance New Graduates with a strong interest in Tax Accounting
