Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of Contract Management experience.
- Bachelor's Level Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare related Degree.

Job Summary
The VSS is a key position reporting directly to the Manager, Enterprise Vendor Support. This position plays a crucial role in the management of vendor relationships across Sentara Health Plans, including all lines of business, clinical and non-clinical vendors. The incumbent will be the liaison between the internal business owner (BO) and the assigned external vendor, assisting with the day to day oversight to ensure the assigned vendor meets contractual and regulatory/compliance requirements. The VSS assists with the implementation and on/off boarding of vendors and related services, collaborates with the BO and vendor to provide guidance and resolution to complex operational issues, assists in addressing member/provider complaints, and partners with internal/external stakeholders to address vendor financial and perform oversight, annual Compliance audits and regulatory requests. The VSS will be required to handle multiple competing priorities, deadlines, and tasks, as well as possess the capability to work well with others in high volume conditions, while successfully interfacing with internal and external professionals. The VSS builds relationships with stakeholders to ensure the quality of the vendor partnership meet both the contractual agreement, as well as the org's core value and competency standards.Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a Healthcare related discipline preferred. At least three years of contracts management experience required. Demonstrated experience establishing and assessing third-party performance.
Knowledge of managed care operations, and/or business analysis. Experience managing service level agreements and leading cross functional business teams. Strong oral and written communication skills
Possess knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
Strong analytical skills
Account Management and Vendor Management Experience
