Pay rate: up to $30/hr
The ideal candidate would have experience with blanchard grinding, surface grinding and ID/OD grinding.
Job duties:
Set up and operate Surface or Blanchard Grinder or ID/OD to machine details
Use automatic and manual grinding equipment
Experience using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and other precision measuring tools
Comfortable working with a wide variety of materials (carbon/alloy/tool steels and bronze)
Must be able to read prints
Required:
Must be familiar with grinding alloy and tool steels in both soft and hardened conditions
Must know measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, etc...) and geometric relationships (squareness, parallelism, flatness)
Must know how to read blueprints and be comfortable taking written and verbal instructions
Hours: 5:30am - 3:00pm, 45-50 hrs, some Sat. when needed
