Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Builder/Tool Maker with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assembling machines and making parts from detailed prints. This position involves both building and assembly work, as well as operating manual machines to fabricate parts for specialized machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and build a variety of machines, including those for metal removal, rubber cut-off, and other specialized applications.
• Fabricate and machine parts based on engineering prints and technical specifications.
• Operate manual machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to create components for custom machines.
• Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting with a focus on automation systems.
• Ensure high-quality assembly and precision of parts and machines.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure machine specifications and customer requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in machine building and tool making.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering prints and technical drawings.
• Strong skills in operating manual machines for part fabrication (e.g., lathe, mill, grinder).
• Experience in machine maintenance with a focus on automation is highly preferred.
• Electrical wiring skills are a plus, though not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
