The role offers a way to work in a fast-paced work data focused environment while providing the opportunity for operationally minded individuals to design, build and maintain data focused processes to ensure smooth administration of client’s COBRA records. The Senior COBRA Data Analyst will perform a variety of functions as it relates to plan operations such as processing incoming client COBRA event files, building and maintaining outbound 834 eligibility / enrollment carrier files, outbound daily carrier updates, renewal system automation, while also being overflow for day-to-day operational tasks (new client builds, data feed testing, database audits and general system processing) and other daily tasks related to the business needs. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate, multi-task and prioritize responsibilities based on the needs of the team and clients and be a team player. Experience – Seasoned COBRA expertise with a strong history of building and managing operational data feeds and similar processes. What you’ll be responsible for : Respond to incoming tickets from other departments Design, monitor, process, and reconcile 834 carrier files for COBRA benefit plans through our recordkeeping systems. Design, monitor, process, and reconcile client event files for COBRA reimbursement plans through our recordkeeping systems. Design, monitor, process and reconcile client renewal automation process. Assist as needed with processing outbound daily carrier updates. Assist as needed with new client builds. Assist as needed with incoming data feed testing working with clients and external vendors to facilitate new and existing feed updates. Assist internal teams with responding to client inquiries Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to quickly learn new systems (CRMs, recordkeeping, etc.) Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned Respond to incoming tickets from other departments Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changing benefits-related legislation A bout you : We are looking for innovative thinkers to drive our business forward—someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, customer focus, drive, determination, and the strength of character to challenge the status quo. What you need to have : Preferred qualifications : 6 or more years of experience working in the insurance field or related industry Experience with COBRA administration platforms, preferably Wex Health Cloud COBRA and Direct Billing. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with internal and external contacts Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel Analytical and organizational skills Data management skills Familiar with 834 file feed management & best practices Familiar with client data feed processing Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and industry experience Nice to haves : Familiar with WEX systems Experience with onboarding new clients Experience with managing client renewals Experience with managing carrier relationships What you’ll be part of : Our people care about our organization.
