Groundskeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, a passion for landscaping, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Groundskeeper will ensure that all grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting.

Duties

• Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
• Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to promote healthy growth.
• Plant, prune, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
• Monitor the health of plants and lawns, applying fertilizers or pesticides when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris and litter.
• Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or improvements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques and plant care practices is beneficial.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
