We are seeking a strong Assistant Manager for a large apartment community in Eagan. You will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in day-to-day responsibilities of operating the apartment community. You will work with the Property Manager, the Regional Manager, and the corporate team to identify, develop, and achieve operational goals.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Responsible for overseeing leasing activity in accordance with policy and procedures set by Management Preparing lease documents and rental agreements
- Prepares and maintains all marketing for the property, including reviewing internet listing services, performing market surveys, and preparing various reports
- Assists in development and analysis of advertising and special promotions
- Assists in management of the physical property by walking regularly to ensure that appearance, curb appeal, and safety standards are being met
- Maintains courteous and positive resident relations, including the development of resident retention activities and events
- Processes resident and prospective resident requests
- Collects rent, assigns work orders, prepares reports, assists with move-ins and move-outs, assists with inspections, and maintains physical and electronic office files
- Develops a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all policies/procedures
- Communicates regularly, effectively, and respectfully with residents, staff, and all levels of Management
- Assists the Property Manager with developing new procedures and forms, property inspections, and all other duties as needed
All candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Starting rate is based on previous experience, plus commission for all leases signed.
