Responsibilities
Sentinel Technologies is looking for a Network Administrator for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for help desk support, firewall administration, network troubleshooting and application support as needed. This role is a direct placement reporting onsite to our client location in Hillside, IL.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in network administration, troubleshooting, and IT support.
- Strong knowledge of firewall administration, routing, and switching.
- Experience with VPNs, LAN / WAN, and wireless networks.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and troubleshooting software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to assist both technical and non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CCNA, Network , or equivalent experience preferred.
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between locations and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range : $60,000-$70,000 a year
