What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network and Security Administrator position at Sentinel Offender Services?
Responsibilities
As a Network and Security Administrator, you will provide installation, configuration, and operational use of network security devices including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network traffic analyzers. You will conduct daily administration and operation on IT security in computing resources infrastructure including vulnerability scan and remediation, security audit, intrusion detection analysis, intrusion prevention and other related support.
This is a contract position located and reporting onsite in Houston, TX.
Qualifications
- 5 years of networking experience
- Experience with Extreme Networks and Fortinet Firewalls required
- Must have experience working with Cisco security including : Cisco XDR, Cisco Email Threat Defense , Cisco Secure Endpoint, Cisco Network Analytics
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
