System Engineer, Senior

Responsibilities :

Sentinel Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for one of our partners in Tucson, AZ. As the Senior System Admin, you are responsible for this highly available environment. Your responsibilities will include systems and some network servers, system security and data integrity. The ideal candidate will be able to offer guidance and project direction to staff and management as a subject matter expert. In building out this environment, you will also be tasked with creating process and procedure. This is a long term contract position onsite in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of experience in a Microsoft eco-system design, deploy, modify
• Design and deploy Microsoft-based systems including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange environments.
• Develop and implement system configurations, procedures, and guidelines for the Microsoft environment.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansions.Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Administer and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other related services.
• Oversee Exchange Server operations, ensuring email system stability and security.
• Manage user access and permissions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Create documentation for knowledge base
• Responsibility for system backups and data integrity
• A valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a can-do attitude

Compensation Range : $135,000 - $150,000
