What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daytime Bistro Server position at Sentinel Pointe Retirement?
We are seeking a Bistro server to become an integral part of our team!
Our 'Have a Gouda Day Bistro' has an elderly clientele base that appreciates good service, good food & friendly/familiar faces.
We offer a very competitive hourly rate in this particular field, clients do not tip.
This would be a perfect position for a retiree or someone who just wants a easy, part time job serving and mingling with our elderly residents. The schedule commitment is 3 to 4 hour shifts Monday-Friday. Typical shift is serving light breakfast to residents from 7a-10am.

Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverages (no alcohol) to guests
- Explain to guests about menu items
- Clean and prepare the dining areas
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the bistro
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Ability to work with the elderly
- Patience is a must
- Prep food items such as sandwich's, soups, and appetizer plates
- Perform other bistro duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields desired
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
