What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cisco Collaboration Engineer position at Sentinel?
Responsibilities
Sentinel is looking for a Cisco Collaboration Engineer to assist one of our clients located downtown Chicago. Your role will involve configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Cisco collaboration tools to ensure seamless communication and collaboration experiences for our users. This is a contract to hire role reporting onsite at our client location in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or CCIE Collaboration preferred.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco collaboration solutions in enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco collaboration products and technologies including CUCM, Unity Connection, Webex Teams, Webex Meetings, Expressway, etc.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, H.323, VLANs, QoS, etc.).
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
