Responsibilities
Sentinel is looking for a Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our client. The ideal candidate would be good at working in cross functional teams and have great communication skills. You would be responsible for configuring and managing Cisco Network, along with having experience with VMware environments and Windows Servers. There will be minimal travel for Columbus, OH. This is a contract position reporting onsite at our client location in Auburn, MI.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven hands-on experience in both server and network administration.
- Strong skills in Cisco networking systems configuration and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in VMware setup, management, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (M365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving network and infrastructure issues.
- Strong background in Windows Servers administration and configuration.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience with disaster recovery and data backup practices.
- Knowledge of network security principles and virus protection software.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
