What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onboarding Network Analyst position at Sentinel?
Sentinel is looking for an Onboarding Network Analyst to join our team! As an Onboarding Analyst, your primary responsibility is facilitating our customer’s technical transition to Sentinel’s award-winning support services smoothly and without interruption. This will include CCNA level route switch configuration and troubleshooting. Working with internal and external IT resources, you will be responsible to ensure the client’s continued satisfaction on their way to receiving Sentinel’s suite of award-winning services. This is a remote position that will need to provide occasional support onsite to our Detroit, MI location.
Qualifications:- 2-5 years' experience in a networking/security engineering related position
- Experience with building VPN tunnels and experience with Firewalls
- Experience working with Splunk and/or security ingest configuration
- Certifications preferred: CCNA Routing/Switching or CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CompTIA Security , Splunk Power User or Certified Enterprise Admin, or other similar certifications
- Ability to provide CCNA level route switch and firewall configuration
- Experience with monitoring SolarWinds Orion
- Experience in working with a ticketing system
- Experience working in a virtual server environment, VMWare experience is a plus.
- Experience with configuring and deploying tools such as Cylance, Splunk, Cisco AMP, Cisco Umbrella, and Cisco ESA is a plus
- Experience with configuring and deploying tools such as Duo, Splunk, Cisco AMP, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco ESA, Illumio, Cisco XDR, or Microsoft XDR is a plus
- Experience and knowledgeable on VPN and NAT technologies is preferred
- Basic understanding of customer change management and regulatory requirements is required.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
