What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Help Desk Agent position at Sentinel?
As a Traveling Help Desk Agent, you will provide technical support services, project tracking, and documentation for a major ERP roll out to the staff of one of our major customers. You will fly to the various nationwide locations to deploy replace and/or repair computers, printers, scanners and RF guns. The candidate must be resourceful, have excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve computer and network problems, be able to communicates effectively and exercise good judgment to ensure that network policies, security, and stability are maintained when supporting the network. When you are not traveling to a client site you will have the ability to work remote. This is a year contract opportunity.
- Must be able to travel throughout the nation 50-70% of the time
- Must be available to work after hours and weekends as needed
- The candidate should have experience with Mac and Windows systems
- The candidate will need the ability to provided Tier 1 and 2 technical support
- Able to assess and troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues
- Must have excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Must be able to accurately track project progress and provide updates to management
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
- Must be able to kneel, squat and/or bend as needed to install or repair equipment.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range:
$30.00 to $35.00 per hour
