You will also help keep our uptime promise to customers by making sure we meet our SLOs. You will help our engineering teams ship software to our customers fast and with quality. In this job, you will have an amazing opportunity to drive outcomes that improve the reliability, stability, and cost efficiency of SentinelOne’s platform.Someone who has driven continuous deployment, has run incident post-mortems, has worked on engineering architecture vision and has automated repetitive operational tasks would be a great fit. We value candor and collaboration.What skills and knowledge should you bring?5 years experience in running operations at a large scale for a SaaS product3 years of production experience with Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is someone with extended knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem. Understanding of Kubernetes networking and internals.Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux)Python / Golang / Java / Ruby as main scripting languages (we use Python and Golang)Great Networking Foundation, understanding of network protocols and concepts is desired.Deep expertise with one of the following Cloud providers : AWS, GCP, AzureYou’ve used Terraform to set up cloud native servicesYou understand the networking foundation of Cloud ProvidersFamiliarity with observability standards and tools (Prometheus / Grafana stack is preferred)Familiarity with CI and practical delivery using any of Travis, CircleCI, Codefresh, Spinnaker, Jenkins or Buildkite, familiarity with deployment strategies like blue-green, rolling deploys, canary deploys and best practices around deployment automation (with tools like Shipit or Spinnaker) is desiredPolyglot experience with other SRE tools – we integrate with more tools every dayCuriosity, fast-learning, pursuit to improvements, great communicationKeeping a pulse on the latest SRE trends and Open SourceApart from the above technical skills, the following are desired : Ability to work in a diverse and distributed team is highly desiredA self-starter that is passionate and motivated by new technologies and has empathy for legacy systemsA quick learner that can navigate through unfamiliar programming languages, systems, and processesPrior product-building experience is optional but desiredWhy us?You will be joining a cutting-edge company, where you will tackle extraordinary challenges and work with the very best in the industry along with competitive compensation.
