Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Regional Operations Associate provides comprehensive support to our Regional Directors overseeing multifamily apartment communities on the West Coast. This role is instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency, facilitating key initiatives, and enhancing communication across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple priorities effectively. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with corporate and on-site teams.
This is a hybrid position which works remotely and supports on-site operations of multiple properties in the LA Area. Travel between locations is required.
What You'll Do
Operational Support & Compliance:
- Package and distribute monthly operating reports to clients once approved by the Regional Directors.

Assist Regional Directors with property-related projects, including but not limited to:
- Property inspections and audits
- Due diligence property audits for acquisitions and transitions
- Compliance documentation to ensure regulatory and policy adherence
- Assist in tracking regional reporting metrics related to financial performance, leasing trends, and operational efficiencies.
- Support procurement projects by researching, evaluating, and coordinating purchases for the portfolio as needed.
- Coordinate vendor contracts, proposals, and service agreements, ensuring timely execution and cost efficiency.
- Maintain regional operational databases, tracking key initiatives and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Property & Team Support:
- Act as a liaison between corporate leadership, on-site teams, and Regional Directors to ensure seamless communication.
- Facilitate alignment between regional leadership and property teams regarding company goals, performance metrics, and best practices.
- Compile, analyze, and present data related to occupancy, leasing performance, and financial reporting to support regional decision-making.
- Provide interim support for General Managers (GMs) or Directors of Sales, filling in when necessary to maintain operational stability.
Event & Training Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate regional meetings, training sessions, and team-building events.
- Assist with onboarding new regional employees by managing documentation, system access, and training schedules.
- Organize leadership summits, operational workshops, and property performance reviews.
Skills and Experience
- 2 years of experience in operations, preferably in property management, real estate, or a related industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and property management software (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with budgeting, procurement, and vendor management is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to communities for operational support, meetings, and training events.
