The Operations Technician focuses on assembly production goals with high quality results. Attention to detail, reliability and a strong concern for procedures are essential in this position. This position is measured by purveying a safe environment for themselves and other employees, achieving business targets, and achieving daily assembly goals.
The SentriLock Operations Technician works as a member of a highly functional team that routinely achieves production metrics, troubleshoot and repair SentriLock's products and assisting with related logistics of products.
The successful Operations Technician assembly knowledge and leadership skills to the assembly line as a team member. The team assembles the SentriLock products at the highest quality and scale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned station assembly task with consistent speed and accuracy
- Safely and properly use different hand tools to accomplish assembly tasks for various assembly stations
- Perform first inspection on all manufacturer finished goods, document concise and accurate records of defects.
- Report any issues or safety violations to Team Lead or Operations Manager
- Diagnose malfunctioning electro-mechanical assemblies and repair
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management to maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work with software systems to track and update data on repaired products
- Coordinate and schedule shipments for internal and external customers
- Perform logistics and other operational tasks when required
- Ensure all sales orders and repairs are processed accurately and on time
- Coordinate scrap product recycling with vendors
- Follow processes and procedures
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Participate in projects assigned by manager
- Seek and complete appropriate training, skill development, and research
- Support the mission, principles, and goals of the company
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- 1 years Electro-mechanical product assembly – Preferred
- Forklift Certification- Preferred
- Experience training others and proven track record of leading by example - Required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. – required
- Valid driver’s license and insurable by SentriLock – required
- Support the mission and goals of the company - required
- Seek and complete appropriate levels of training, development, and research – required
