What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Lot Attendant / Service Lane Attendant position at Sentry Auto Group?
Sentry West Mazda is looking for one Sales Lot Attendant / Service Lane Attendant to assist our service customers at our high volume, high customer satisfaction dealership, located in a state of the art facility on Route 9 in Shrewsbury, MA. For the right person who learns quickly, can handle multiple tasks, and is willing to work hard this position might involve as much as 5-10 hours per week of overtime at time and a half. You will be busy - on your feet most of the day - and you must be capable of working outside in inclement weather.
This position is responsible for a variety of important tasks primarily related to taking care of our service customers as they arrive at our dealership. On the service side, it will include greeting customers, tagging their cars and keeping them moving through the line, and directing them to a service advisor for writeup. It will include pickup and delivery of cars at customers' houses. On the sales side, you will perform a variety of tasks designed to ensure that our vehicle inventory presents in as appealing a manner as possible. You will be on your feet almost all the time, and you will be busy.
You must be customer-oriented, friendly, and an extremely careful driver and parker of cars of all kinds. If you are seeking the predictable routine and repetition of, say, a fast food job.... or sitting at a desk all day..... this position is definitely NOT for you!

Physical Requirements:
You must be able to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance, to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to pick-up from vendors and deliver stock and materials to customers upon request, to wear personal protective equipment when needed. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach objects (must be able to climb a step ladder at approximately three feet in height and to work from a lift up to twenty feet in height); to work in hazardous or irritating environments, confined spaces, and adverse weather or temperature conditions, to wear and work in personnel protective equipment.
