What are the responsibilities and job description for the Panel Shop Technician position at Sentry Equipment & Erectors?

As a member of our pre-wire team, you will be participating in electrical installation that includes, but is not limited to: wire-way, wire and cable pulls, wire terminations. You will use detailed schematics to help outline your work, placing mounting sensors and disconnects. You’ll also be a key part of troubleshooting system issues.
Are you intrigued by this work?
- Read and comprehend engineered electrical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation of electrical panels and components.
- Take engineered electrical drawings and layout requirements to drill and tap back plates for component installation.
- Apply knowledge of appropriate wire gauges in various amp situations to ensure safe and efficient electrical connections.
- Assist with skidding the electrical panels and related components as per project specifications.
