What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Events Security Officer position at Sentry Force Security LLC?
We are seeking reliable and experienced Unarmed Special Event Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. The selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned special events as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. This is a part-time special event positions, events will be held every few weeks or months and will only last a few days.

- TBD (Different events will have different days and schedules)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- Candidates MUST have their Active VA DCJS license, however training may be provided on a case by case basis
- 2 years previous experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, or active duty military
- First Aid and CPR/AED certified
- Must be capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail
