Job Description

We are seeking reliable and experienced Unarmed Security Officers to work a special event with us from 3 / 6-3 / 11. These unarmed security officers will patrol and secure the assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. THIS IS A TEMPORARY SPECIAL EVENT POSITION WITH A PAY RATE OF $23 / HR.

Responsibilities :

Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications :

Candidates MUST Maryland Guard Card

Required at least 2 years of prior security experience

Must be capable of meeting physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs

Strong attention to detail

First Aid and CPR / AED certified
