Job Overview:
We are seeking a Semi/Heavy Truck Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Heavy Truck glass repair and replacement. Ability to bring currently servicing accounts a big plus. You will be provided a work van to share with another employee.
Duties:
- Replacing and repairing Heavy Truck glass at our office or at our customers locations within the state of Indiana with our office being in Carmel.
- Install, repair, or replace Heavy Truck glass components.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance.
- vacuum any broken glass and clean glass after install
- Ability to lift and load into van, as well as install windshields up to 50lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Heavy Truck Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting tasks.
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
