What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative I position at Sentry?
Provides quality customer service to insureds and customers. Resolves service problems in a contact center environment via multiple channels including phone, email and chat with a focus on quality and timely resolution. Under close supervision, follows standard processes and procedures on assignments of basic to moderate complexity. May refer inquiries beyond level of knowledge or authority to more experienced representatives or published material.
This position will be located out of our El Paso, Tx or Stevens Point, WI office locations under a hybrid work model.
What You'll Do :
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work within our Motorcycle customer call center to provide outstanding customer service by responding to inbound calls. Additionally, you'll :
Handle a high volume of phone calls from customers
Perform pre-underwriting screening
Verify coverage, evaluate submitted bills, and authorize payments
Advise customers of billing policies and procedures and process policy changes
Resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer relations
Complete administrative tasks and input customer information into databases for documentation
What it Takes : High School Diploma.
Good human relations skills to deal effectively with customer issues in a professional manner.
Knowledge of how to use a computer, keyboard skills, and familiarity with software applications such as Excel and Word .
Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements, providing reliable and predictable attendance. Hours of this job include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills to provide positive resolution.
Previous Call Center experience is preferred
Bilingual (English-Spanish) a plus
