Job Description
The relentless obsession of the Production Manager is to enable the manufacturing team to do their jobs efficiently, correctly, safely and without delays so that the customer gets a quality product that meets their schedule.

- Management is 4 things: Working “In” the business, Setting Clear expectations for your reports, Communicating well so that expectations are clear both ways (yours and theirs) and Executing well.
- Accountability is not something you can “do”, it is the byproduct of great leadership and management.
- Manage the Production Schedule and staffing to ensure that manufacturing of product meets customer demands and so that the production schedule is not delayed for reasons in your control.
- Ensure that every production member has the proper Shop Resources to do their job safely and efficiently (i.e. tools, equipment, staffing, and supplies)
- Build material lists, order and keep track of project Inventory using the Just In Time inventory system to ensure that the production schedule is not delayed due to missing parts.
- Maintain and monitor just enough On-Hand Inventory for key parts to replace materials damaged in production.
- Collaborate with all Sentry Departments so that the production schedule, roustabout schedule, millwright schedule, and shipping schedule are always in sync and are optimized.
- Coordinate with engineering on documentation required to efficiently and profitably complete work.
- Ensure that all the manufacturing Process are FBA (Followed by All) by training using the process, measuring the key points in the process to ensure that your team is accountable to doing the work the best and most efficient way.
