What You’ll Do
As the primary point of contact for prospective guests booking with The Inn at SentryWorld, you will assist in determining the needs for their stay and ensure they receive information on the other amenities available at SentryWorld. In addition to delivering exceptional customer service throughout their entire stay, you’ll:
- Process all guest reservation requests, changes and cancellations.
- Verify all information upon booking including guest contact information, specials needs/requests, and payment options.
- Send reservation confirmation and stay information to guests upon booking.
- Enter and modify group blocks to ensure inventory, dates, cancellation policy, deposit requirements, and booking procedures are accurate in system.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of all hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, SentryWorld amenities/services and available guest packages.
- Respond to and address guest concerns/requests and ensure they handled in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Track daily, weekly, monthly and annual statistics to help in budgeting and forecasting for The Inn.
- Assist in checking in guests upon arrival as needed.
What it Takes
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Previous customer service experience in a hotel setting is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain organized and effective while multi-tasking
- Ability to follow procedures and specifications
- Ability to operate in a professional service environment and respond effectively to customers
- Work extended/non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
