Job Description
The People Operations Manager is responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, optimizing processes to enhance the employee experience, and implementing strategies that align with our company values and goals. This role goes beyond traditional HR, integrating talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, and performance management into a cohesive, data-driven approach.
This position is hybrid including 3 days in the office at our Chicago location.
Role Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment : (75% of Role)
- Manage in-house recruitment process including job descriptions & requisitions, posting and advertising, and the hiring process lifecycle.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- Learning and Development (L&D) :
- Implement training programs to support employee growth.
- Manage career paths and development through mentorship programs and coaching initiatives.
- Analyze skill gaps and coordinate upskilling opportunities to align with business goals.
- Performance Management :
- Oversee performance review cycles, feedback processes, and goal alignment.
- Establish metrics and tools to measure and improve individual and team performance.
- Drive a culture of continuous feedback and recognition.
- Employee Engagement and Culture :
- Lead initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Implement programs to enhance employee satisfaction, wellness, and retention.
- Act as a culture ambassador, aligning HR initiatives with company values.
- Data-Driven People Strategies :
- Utilize HR analytics to inform decisions and optimize processes.
- Track and report on key people metrics, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
