What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Truck Line Cook position at SEOULSIDE WINGS?
Seoulside Wings in Houston, TX is looking for a part time Food Truck Line Cook to join our growing team! We need some one with availability of Morning, Afternoon, and Late Night Shift availabilities.
Our commissary kitchen will be located at 5218 Sherman St. Houston, TX 77011.
Driving will be required to and from serving sites and between our commissary kitchen after the shift for dishwashing duties.
Responsibilities
- Operate Fryers and work our Saucing station with keeping ticket times in mind.
- Operate Griddle and cooking experience.
- Experience in cleaning fryers & griddles.
- Confidently take orders, handle payments, and operate the cashier app system.
- Customer service skills.
- Maintaining proper cleanliness of self & equipment/facility (i.e. proper handwashing, personal cleanliness, sanitization of work spaces, dish upkeep throughout shift, sweeping/mopping floors, etc.)
- Stand for extended periods of time, occasionallly lifting up to 40 pounds, and comfortable with working in outdoor temperatures during peak summer or winter. The Food Truck does get very hot during warmer weathers and cold during winter.
- Help a team close down the Food Truck & do dishes at the end of the night at our prep kitchen that can vary 2-30 miles away depending on the site location/events.
Qualifications
- Has worked in customer service/food trucks/kitchens before.
- Cooking experience in high-speed kitchen environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Holds a Food Handlers Certification.
- Flexibility in traveling to different locations and events.
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot & cold weather)
